Privacy Policy — Private RAG

Private RAG ("the app") is operated by the developer, contactable at
[email protected] ("we", "us"). This
policy explains what data the app handles, where it goes, and how long it lives.
What the app does
The app lets you upload documents (text, PDF, photos) to a private "space" and ask
questions about them. Answers are generated from your documents only.

What we do NOT do
- No account required. Email / WhatsApp is optional, and only if you ask to be notified about Plus.
- No advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking across apps.
- We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
- We do not use your documents to train models.
How it works technically
- On first launch the app registers an anonymous device token (random string) used to
enforce fair-use limits. It identifies your install, not you.
- All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS via Cloudflare).
- Documents and chats are stored only on our own server (never in third-party cloud
storage) and are wiped when the space expires (24 hours by default), when you
delete them, or when the retention you chose ends.
- Guest links are secret URLs; anyone with the link can chat with that space until it
expires or you revoke it. Share them carefully.
Your choices
- Delete individual files or whole spaces in the app at any time.
- Revoke a guest link instantly from the share panel.
- Clearing the app's storage (Android settings) forgets your device token and spaces.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region).

We will update this policy at this URL when data practices change.
